Been out birding and forgot to log a 'Live Session' in the field? Not a problem as Birda now supports the logging of sessions from the past. It could be yesterday's walk or a great birdwatching day out from 7 years ago!

What you will need to log a past session on Birda

  • Location of your session

  • Date of your session

  • Time of your session

  • A list of birds that you saw

Step-by-Step guide to log a Past Session

  1. Press the Blue Plus Button and then press Past Session.

  2. Log the correct date, start and end time of your session.

    1. Ensure that you select the start time first.

    2. Make sure both your start and end time are in the past.

  3. Log the general location for your session.

  4. Add each bird species that you saw within your session.

  5. Press 'Save' when you're done.

  6. Review your session and then press 'Post' or 'Save as Draft'.
