Here are three simple ways to identify birds using Birda:

1. Birda's AI Photo ID

Snap a photo and let Birda's AI do the work!

2. Birda's Species Guide

Explore everything you need to know about birds in Birda's Species Guide!

  • Access the Species Guide by tapping the book icon in the top-right corner of the 'Feed' tab or by visiting the 'Discover' tab.

  • Each species is packed with info like species reference images, species descriptions, bird calls, distribution maps, fun facts, similar species, and more!

3. Birda's Community Bird ID

Let the Birda community lend a hand at identifying birds! There is no better way to learn about bird identification that through helped from birdwatchers with stacks of experience...

To get help from the community, simply follow these steps to post a sighting of the bird you saw:

  • Open Birda and tap on the round blue button with a plus (+) sign.

  • Tap 'Add Sighting' and add a photo of the bird.

  • Add the location and date of the sighting.

  • Select 'Unidentified Species' at the top of the species list.

  • Now just post your sighting and Birda will notify your followers and share your sighting in the 'Unidentified' feed so the community can chime in.
