With Birda+, you'll be able to create your own Custom Life Lists. You can add location-based Life Lists with the touch of a button. Filter your lists, keep track and look back at the species you've seen and photographed.

Birda automatically creates your list from your sightings and divides them by Region and Country. Subdivisions (States, Provinces, Counties etc) and Birding Areas are coming soon.

How to Create a Custom Life List on Birda+.

  1. Tap on the 'Discover' tab and then tab on 'Life Lists'

  2. Now tap on 'Add Custom Lists' at the bottom of the screen or 'Edit' in the top right corner.

  3. Select any of your Regions and Countries life list that you are interested. The Regions and Countries that are shown are only those that you have logged sightings in.

  4. Tap any of the available lists to add them to your Life List page.

  5. Press Done to see your Life Lists.

You'll be able to see the highlighted area on the header of your List. From here you'll be able to see each species you've spotted and which you've photographed. Choose between;

  1. All Time

  2. This Year

  3. This Month

  4. Last Year

Will my imports be added to Life Lists?

Yes, all sightings will contribute towards your life lists, irrespective of their source.

Can I create a custom area for my Life Lists?

No, we do not currently support users adding custom geometries to Birda. However, we are going to be adding Subdivisions (States, Provinces, Counties, etc.) and Birding Areas soon, and we expect these to cover the majority of the areas that people want to keep life lists for.
